It is amazing to look back at my life, to think about the
people that I’ve met and the experiences that I’ve had. Even though I’m not
that old yet, I still feel like I have grown a lot in my short years and have
gained a much stronger testimony than I would have thought possible. I look at my life now and I can’t imagine not
having the gospel in it, it is my backbone, my driving force for the things
that I want to do in life. I am ever so
grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ and the deliverance that I’ve found from
my weaknesses and mistakes. The
atonement has such a cleansing power, not just from sin but from the pains of
this world. Just as prophets have said,
The Book of Mormon can do so much more good in life than any other book that
was ever written. I am and will ever be
grateful to a loving Heavenly Father for his Plan of Salvation, which leads us
to our true purpose here on earth. My
view of life is this that we are to live the best we can, work as hard as we
can and love all those that cross our paths, even as the Savior does. I know that these goals are only possible
with the help of the Savior, but I know that it is possible; otherwise they
wouldn’t have ever sent us here to this mortal experience. I also cannot omit the importance of family
in this life, we came here to live in and gain families; without families,
there is no true happiness in the life to come.
